There are two types of gas that our features will operate on, Natural gas or Propane. Natural gas is usually run via underground piping from a meter on the side of a home. Propane can be run in a similar fashion with a large tank on the side of a home or it can be housed in a small 20lb cylinder (similar to the tank on a grill) and replaced as needed.

When using an electronic ignition system from Studio Nisho, you will need to ensure that a conduit is run to the cavity of the fire feature. The conduit should house a 120VAC power supply and can end with a GFCI outlet. Our ignition systems will plug into the outlet and the outlet can be run to any number of switch options that run on 120VAC (wall switch, home automation, dial timer, remote controls, etc.). The fire feature then turns on/off via the switch.

Gas: Studio Nisho always recommends that a qualified gas installer hooks up the feature, but we make it as easy as possible. All gas connections come pre-installed on the feature. The only connection that needs to be made is to the gas stub or LP tank via the flex line or LP hose supplied with the feature.
Feet: Studio Nisho will supply level feet with the vessel. These can be used to level the feature as well as function as the required ventilation to comply with gas fire feature standards.

Studio Nisho offers a 1-Year warranty against any manufacturing defects on our vessels. Our burners hold a lifetime warranty. The electronic ignitions hold a 3-Year warranty for residential use and a 1-Year warranty for commercial use. All Nisho features must be covered when not in use in order for our warranty to apply.

All Studio Nisho features are made to order. Our standard lead time is 8-10 weeks with the ability for expediting. Nisho also offers custom features which will be subject to longer lead times, but normally take 12-14 weeks. These lead times do not include transit time, but normal transit times are no more than 5 days.
